Nicole Poirier
Currently, Nicole Poirier leads the team responsible for Customer and Strategy. Her role is focused on aligning customer experience initiatives with enterprise objectives and strategy. She is responsible for working with the business to drive actionable strategies that drive retention, build trust and loyalty and long-term value for the customers and employees of NB Power. Her role also focuses on collaboration with partners and key stakeholders to support customer experience.
Prior to that she was Vice President, Operations for 4 years. Nicole was responsible for the safe, reliable generation (conventional), distribution and transmission of power across the province. During her 37 year career, Nicole has held many other roles within the organization (Executive Director of Transmission and Distribution, Director of Health and Safety and Environment and Emergency Preparedness, Director of Nuclear Business Services, Director of Supply Chain, and Director of Regulatory Affairs).
She graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1990. She has a Human Resource Management Certification from the University of New Brunswick and is also Lean Sigma Black Belt trained. She also serves on a few industry boards.
